The Children of Liberty, maintaining the integrity of both our founding fathers and the Great American Experiment outlined in the Constitution, hold these five principles in highest regard. Through our thoughts, words and actions, in every aspect of our lives, these shall be our guiding principles.
To reclaim God in our lives, and in so doing, secure His place at the center our countrys social and political conscience. Natural law is the basis of our liberties, and we have a moral obligation to protect Americas Divine providence.
A society that does not respect life is doomed to failure. We will respect all human life, and promote the right to life from conception to death.
Living by the rule of law not man, and with respect for justice that must be blind and apply to all, we respect the Constitution as written and revere it as the greatest set of governing principles ever written.
Only limited government can allow for Natural law. We must vigilantly defend against those who would expand our government, or discredit our countrys free market principles.
Personal and fiscal responsibilities are the foundation of freedom. We value personal and fiscal responsibility and demand the same from our representatives.
We must always remember what John Adams wrote,
"But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever."
John Adams, letter to Abigail Adams, July 17, 1775

A place for classy, positive women, (especially great for single women) to socialize, network, volunteer, and support each other in the fun and interesting stage of life between ages 20-40. *See who should join below.
Started this group because most of my friends have married or moved away for work. Being out of college and onto a job has left me with a routine that lacks a lot of social activities. I'm sure you can relate! Let's join together, share ideas, and have fun! If you're single and wanting to date, having girlfriends with you when you go out always helps. If you are in need of work, networking is the best way to find that dream job. If you wish to volunteer or exercise it's much more fun with a group. Like Chicks for Charity but free! Want to learn a new skill? Let's reach out to each other! Tired of watching movies by yourself? Who wouldn't want to make more friends! You never know what could happen as a result of joining so why not try?
Your contribution of just plain YOU is very important to the group's vitality. We welcome any talents, strenghts, ideas, comments. No person will dominate the group - everyone has a chance to make a difference. Like the lyrics in Desiree's "You Gotta Be" let's "Be bold, be strong, and stay together."
*You can be single or married and any age over 18 in any location to join, but we ask that it be women only for now on the meetup. If you're a guy who wants to volunteer or help out please contact me.
**Note - this group does not discriminate against race, credence, or age. There is no religious affiliation. This meet up is led by a group conscious, the organizer is more of a guide and a starter. The organizer reserves the right to remove a membership of one whose behavior is causing detriment to the group.
encourage critical thought. It's not that we just don't have a god, we oppose hucksters teaching children an entity outside them has control of their actions. We oppose hucksters giving fear, guilt and sorrow in exchange for salvation
Bowling Green Ohio Tea Party Patriots Mission Statement and Core Values
Mission Statement
The impetus for the Tea Party movement is excessive government spending and taxation. Our mission is to attract, educate, organize, and mobilize our fellow citizens to secure public policy consistent with our three core values of Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government and Free Markets.
Core Values
Fiscal Responsibility
Constitutionally Limited Government
Free Markets
Fiscal Responsibility: Fiscal Responsibility by government honors and respects the freedom of the individual to spend the money that is the fruit of their own labor. A constitutionally limited government, designed to protect the blessings of liberty, must be fiscally responsible or it must subject it's citizenry to high levels of taxation that unjustly restricts the liberty our Constitution was designed to protect. Such runaway deficit spending as we now see in Washington D.C. compels us to take action as the increasing national debt is a grave threat to our national sovereignty and the personal and economic liberty of future generations.
Constitutionally Limited Government: We, the members of The Tea Party Patriots, are inspired by our founding documents and regard the Constitution of the United States to be the supreme law of the land. We believe that it is possible to know the original intent of the government our founders set forth, and stand in support of that intent. Like the founders, we support states' rights for those powers not expressly stated in the Constitution. As the government is of the people, by the people and for the people, in all other matters we support the personal liberty of the individual, within the rule of law.
Free Markets: A free market is the economic consequence of personal liberty. The founders believed that personal and economic freedom were indivisible, as do we. Our current government's interference distorts the free market and inhibits the pursuit of individual and economic liberty. Therefore, we support a return to the free market principles on which this nation was founded and oppose government intervention into the operations of private business.
Our Philosophy
Tea Party Patriots as an organization believes in the Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government, and Free Markets. Tea Party Patriots, Inc. is a non-partisan grassroots organization of individuals united by our core values derived from the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States of America, the Bill Of Rights as explained in the Federalist Papers. We recognize and support the strength of grassroots organization powered by activism and civic responsibility at a local level. We hold that the United States is a republic conceived by its architects as a nation whose people were granted "unalienable rights" by our Creator. Chiefly among these are the rights to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." The Tea Party Patriots stand with our founders, as heirs to the republic, to claim our rights and duties which preserve their legacy and our own. We hold, as did the founders, that there exists an inherent benefit to our country when private property and prosperity are secured by natural law and the rights of the individual.
Our playgroup is geared toward children 18 months 5 yrs old who live in Toledo and the surrounding area. We meet on various days throughout the month. We try to offer a diverse array of activities for the children as well as the moms.

Welcome, you are among friends!

WE the people, BY the people, FOR the people...
Believe, like our Founding Fathers, that the Declaration of Independence, the Cosnstitution and the Bill of Rights are the Supreme Law of the Land. The sole purpose of government, as stated in the Declaratrion of Independence, is to secure our unalienable right given us by our Creator. When Government grows beyond this scope, it is usurption, and liberty is compromised. We believe the major issues we face today are best solved by a renewed allegiance to the original intent of these founding documents and first principles.

Parenting a gifted child is a wonderful and exciting adventure, and yet, an often challenging and lonely journey. Let's get together and meet other local parents of gifted children, share ideas, resources, stories, tears, laughs and support each other in advocating for your child(ren). See our About us page for more info (in the menu bar at the top).
I have chosen to start this meet-up so that followers of Christ may unite and examine His Word with the sole purpose of developing a deeper relationship with our Lord and Savior; and all the while encouraging one another in Truth!
It is my earnest prayer that the Spirit will lead us to:
Intimately know the real Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, through Scripture (Acts 17:24-27)
Examine the form and function of the first century Church (Eph 4:4-6)
Worship Him in Spirit and in Truth! (John 4:14)
This meetup is open to EVERYONE who believes, without regard to Biblical knowledge or religious association.
2 Tim 3:16-17
"All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness so that the man of God may be adequate and equipped for every good work."
We're all Grown-Folks Now ( 2-12-2010)
I feel like I have been really listening to my heart in the direction this group is going. I have thought hard-- especially since TCPSG has recently reached the sixth month point. And I wanted to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart - of your contributions of the mind and resources, voices, and having the guts to share your experiences with such rawness. I also finally feel as if I have been actually tapped to take the reigns here and have the ability to do so.. so what does this empowerment hold for the group's experience from the sixth month point on?
It is really important to the group if when you visit to create a profile and actually RSVP at least a maybe-- even if your undecided. You have the power to change the settings of your email frequency and to make your level of participation to your liking. I know how chronic pain is-- sometimes your feeling good enough to make it, sometimes your not.
More people tend to show up to the meetings than portrayed on the website and that may throw off some people who may or may-not be on the fence about having coffee with a group of friends :)
About the Organization:
We are all just souls in a vessel all learning something new from one-another every day to help each other out. Call me a dirty hippy. We (TCPSG) are a local not for profit support group (not registered, grassroots, self-funded) with connections (by the blessings and curses of my Frequency of Attendance and personality) to The Toledo Clinic, St. Anne's Hospital and the University of Toledo's Accessibility Center.
How I come to meet others in Chronic Pain:
I am so sick that I also seek out others who are participating in pain management, fitness centers, doctor's offices, hospitals, physical therapy offices and through doctors and even off the street because im always there! I try to turn my good days into advocate days.
Separate activities are planned for all ages (we have single mothers and children as young as 3 who are at the general meetings). In additon to general meetings, we have frequent "Nights on the Town" (which has been held so far at Degage Jazz Cafe or Murphy's Place Jazz on Summit) because having fun and pre-occupation is an essential release.
About My Battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis - an auto immune disease:
I have severe rheumatoid arthritis which is an auto immune disease that causes the degeneration of my body and joint tissues. The illness runs in my family, but the gene for it was triggered on april 14th, 2004 after a tooth infection. I have been through a plethora of surgeries and have even gained and then lost NINTETY pounds now because of the amount of anti inflammatory steroids I am on and being addicted to sugar because steroids make you want to eat. I have had my right elbow replaced in march 2009. I have my left hip replaced on august 7th 2009, and i was in the hospital on my 24th birthday- august 10th, 2010. My hip replacement came out of socket while i was driving in the car along with the pelvis cup and i was taken in for an emergency operation on august 31st, 2009. I now have traumatic pain-stress disorder.
I live in daily pain and have severe damage to most joints in my body.
I get out into the community and advocate for others who are not coping as well with their pain and illnesses- The group helps people connect with community resources and teach a variety of wellness topics most important from US- the experienced SICK; not a bunch of useless "sub-professionals" that have no idea what its like to be suffering or degenerating from a mystery illness!
Outside of my pain and illness you can find me playing in jam sessions as a very serious jazz saxophonist, pianist and jazz hobbyist . Im a huge supporter of Toledo's Jazz Scene -- such as Murphy's place and Degage Jazz Cafe and I am a huge fan of saxophonist Gene Parker. When Im not doing all that- im a secondary-education LAMP student at UT jumping through hoops like all the other fish--- i mean - students in the sea of life.

The emails that I send group members (which is frequent, but hopefully not annoying) THROUGH meetup.. We are a great group of mom's looking to connect with other local mom's for fun with and without our kids!! This is a no judgement zone...all mom's should feel at ease talking with other like minded mom's about how well, and not so well, motherhood is going. We meetup for our children to have socialization with other children their age so that they are better prepared for the interaction come time for school. We also as women (we are not only mothers) like to occasionally get out of the house and away from our little bundles of joy and have some fun time to ourselves!! We look forward to new members to keep our group fresh and let in different points of view.
I started this group because as a former Jehovah's Witness ,I always felt alone. My non witness friends couldn't really understand what I went through being raised in The Watchtower Society. I wanted to create a place former witnesses can come to talk, get support and maybe find old friends. Most of all, I want anyone who joins this group to know that they are not alone.
All religious views are welcome!
Never heard of the Baha'i Faith before? Join me Monday evenings at 7 PM at Biggby's coffee shop in Perrysburg, OH to find out about this new world religion. I say "world" because there are about 6 million Baha'is spread out all over the globe, from Perrysburg, Ohio to China, to the Yukon, India, - in fact, Baha'is are located in over 200 nations and territories on earth.
Come and find out about the claims of the two (2) founding Prophets of the Faith: their claim to be the Promised Ones of all the major faiths of God.
You may wish to check out these websites: www.bahai.us ; www.bahai.org ; http://reference.bahai.org
Please come for a very informal discussion to answer any questions you may have about the Baha'i Faith. Note: it is prohibited in the Baha'i Faith for Baha'is to "proselytize" (meaning, "chasing" people to get them to "convert"). The only way you should convert to the Baha'i Faith is if you truly and independently decide to do so. Therefore, no reason to fear learning about something new -- you are the captain of your own spiritual ship.
Another basic tenet of the Faith is the requirement for each individual to do his/her own independent search for truth. This is such a foundational belief in the Faith that we do not even have a clergy.
Please join me at Biggby's. Look for the "Meetup" sign on the table.
Hello. I started Meetup as a social group to bring together those who have Multiple Sclerosis and other disabilities in the Toledo Ohio area. The purpose of this group is to get out and socialize and have FUN! We shall meet for evening, lunches, coffee and chat along the way about new and different approaches to our lives. Come when you want there are no set dates. All disabilities are welcome along with friends, family .....We want to get out have fun and be seen. I feel it's important for our well being and good for others to see us as we are, ...People. Our Community is important to us as we are or can be to the Community we live in. We will start out small and hopefully grow into a larger busy fun group.
Our meetings will not have a specific agenda however we are listed as a social group. We are not trying to find a cure nor promote any pharmaceutical companies.
This is a group for people who love to write. At the moment I am working on a play that could use some fresh ideas. If interested come join the Perrysburg club.
