We are a meetup group for Great Danes and their humans to get together for socialization and play. We have weekly meetups ranging from walks in the parks to offleash events, potlucks and holiday celebrations. We arrange for activities in the community that allow our danes to attend the events and we also attend activities that support animal welfare in the community.
Our group also rescues danes in need that are in shelters and that have been displaced. All danes that we adopt out are spayed and neutered and updated on any veterinary needs. Individuals interested in adopting one of our available danes will need to complete an application and recieve a home visit.

Fiscal Responsibility
: Fiscal Responsibility by government honors and respects the freedom of the individual to spend the money that is the fruit of their own labor. A constitutionally limited government, designed to protect the blessings of liberty, must be fiscally responsible or it must subject it's citizenry to high levels of taxation that unjustly restricts the liberty our Constitution was designed to protect. Such runaway deficit spending as we now see in Washington D.C. compels us to take action as the increasing national debt is a grave threat to our national sovereignty and the personal and economic liberty of future generations.
Constitutionally Limited Government
: We, the members of The Tea Party Patriots, are inspired by our founding documents and regard the Constitution of the United States to be the supreme law of the land. We believe that it is possible to know the original intent of the government our founders set forth, and stand in support of that intent. Like the founders, we support states' rights for those powers not expressly stated in the Constitution. As the government is of the people, by the people and for the people, in all other matters we support the personal liberty of the individual, within the rule of law.
Free Markets
: A free market is the economic consequence of personal liberty. The founders believed that personal and economic freedom were indivisible, as do we. Our current government's interference distorts the free market and inhibits the pursuit of individual and economic liberty. Therefore, we support a return to the free market principles on which this nation was founded and oppose government intervention into the operations of private business.

The Toledo Signing with Baby Meetup Group is a social networking group for parents with young children who wish to sign with their child. This group provides a great opportunity for parents and caregivers to learn from each other about signing with hearing babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs. This group has monthly face-to-face gatherings to give us the chance to learn some new signs, practice signing, see how other babies sign, and to share strategies, tips and the benefits of signing. Our playgroup is geared toward children 18 months 5 yrs old who live in Toledo and the surrounding area. We meet on various days throughout the month. We try to offer a diverse array of activities for the children as well as the moms.

After leaving an organized religion, whether by personal choice or ex-communication, many people feel lost, confused, lonely, or angry. I was ex-communicated from JW's and 'felt like an amish person that fell off of a turnip truck in the middle of New York City!' (quote not mine). Where do I go from here? I began looking for answers and people that would understand what I was going through. Eventually, I started a support group in Findlay, Ohio -- meeting at a coffee shop. I am looking forward to expanding this group to the Toledo area. Any members that are interested in going out to eat, going on outings, or just enjoying a cup of coffee together and visiting -- is welcome to attend! Come and learn and play the board game called Backgammon. This game is one of the oldest board games in the world. Two players participate much lick checkers. The playing pieces are moved according to the roll of dice. Players win by removing all of their pieces from the board. There are many variants of backgammon, most of which share common traits. Backgammon is a member of the tables family, one of the oldest classes of board games in the world.
Although luck plays an important role, there is a large scope for strategy. With each roll of the dice players must choose from numerous options for moving their checkers and anticipate possible counter-moves by the opponent. Players may raise the stakes during the game. There is an established repertoire of common tactics and occurrences.
Like chess, backgammon has been studied with great interest by computer scientists. Owing to this research, backgammon software has been developed capable of beating world-class human players.

Hello. I started Meetup as a social group to bring together those who have Multiple Sclerosis and other disabilities in the Toledo Ohio area.
